Carved Horn and Brass Segmented Walking Cane - A decorative walking cane featuring a handle and shaft constructed from natural horn segments. The handle is carved from a light-toned, translucent horn depicting a stylized human head with a tiered headpiece. This is joined to the shaft by a polished brass collar. The upper shaft consists of two larger horn segments, one of which is decorated with a carved diamond-hatch trellis pattern. The lower portion of the shaft is composed of multiple smaller segments of alternating dark and light horn, creating a banded aesthetic. The base of the cane is finished with a threaded brass ferrule, which currently lacks a tip. No maker marks, signatures, or geographic stamps are visible on any of the horn or brass components.
