A Pair of Mid-Century Industrial Cast Iron Anthropomorphic Supports - A pair of heavy cast iron industrial or domestic supports finished in a distressed black paint. Each support is designed with a thick, tapered rectangular base leading to a curved, arch-like pedestal. This pedestal transitions into a central sphere from which two horizontal arms extend and bend upward, terminating in spherical finials. The resulting silhouette is stylized and anthropomorphic, resembling a gymnast or a figure in motion. The objects are cast in solid iron with a thick-walled construction. Height: Approximately 8 to 10 inches.
