Vintage Shetland Silver Spinning Wheel Brooch - A vintage silver brooch in the form of a traditional upright spinning wheel. The brooch is cast in a stylized openwork design featuring a large multi-spoke wheel with concentric circular detailing. The frame includes a central spindle, a horizontal table, and a trestle-style base with splayed legs. The reverse is fitted with a straight pin stem and a simple C-clasp hinge mechanism. The reverse of the brooch is stamped with the characters RHS contained within a rectangular cartouche, followed by the word SILVER. The metal surface displays a bright finish with light localized tarnish and fine surface scratches consistent with the aging of vintage silver. The pin mechanism remains fully intact and functional.
