UK 1974 Decimal Proof Coin Set, Cupro-Nickel and Bronze, KM PS28 - A 1974 United Kingdom decimal proof coin set produced by the Royal Mint. The collection is housed in its original clear plastic display case with a brown textured insert and a matching brown cardboard outer sleeve. The assembly includes denominations in cupro-nickel and bronze alloys. All obverses feature the Arnold Machin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the circumscription ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 1974. A rectangular copper-coloured plaque within the case is inscribed THE COINAGE OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND 1974, accompanied by a crown and the text Elizabeth R. The outer box carries the same inscription in a circular gilt design.
