The reverse displays the Saint George and the Dragon design by Benedetto Pistrucci, with the date 1900 in the exergue and the designer's initials B.P. positioned above the rim. Struck at the Royal Mint, the coin is composed of .925 sterling silver and features a milled edge with a regnal year inscription. This issue was the final crown design of Queen Victoria's reign.
