A Chinese Style Carved Resin Figure of Shou Lao - A cast resin figure depicting the Chinese God of Longevity, Shou Lao. The figure is portrayed in traditional flowing robes and a conical straw hat, holding a gnarled staff with several cranes carved at various points. The figure stands on an integral, ornately carved circular base with foliate and floral motifs. The material is finished with a brown tinted wash to accentuate the details and simulate the appearance of aged organic material. There are no visible maker marks or signatures. Height: 300mm.
