1988 AU Uncirculated Mint Set of Coins Bicentenary - A 1988 Royal Australian Mint uncirculated set of coins issued to commemorate the Australian Bicentenary (1788-1988). The collection comprises bronze one-cent and two-cent coins; cupro-nickel five-cent, ten-cent, twenty-cent, and commemorative fifty-cent coins; and aluminium-bronze one-dollar and two-dollar coins. The fifty-cent coin features the First Fleet ship design, and the two-dollar coin depicts an Aboriginal Elder. The set is presented in the original yellow card folder with a pictorial cover illustrating a historical harbour settlement. The coins are secured within a clear plastic insert.
