A Large Modern Ornate Gilt Framed Wall Mirror with Bevelled Glass Plates - A large rectangular wall mirror, late 20th century. The mirror is set within an ornate gilt-finished composite frame featuring a broad outer border decorated with embossed scrolling foliate and floral motifs in relief against a textured, stippled ground. This is complemented by a gadrooned inner border. The central rectangular mirror plate is designed with an inset bevelled mirror border, creating a layered, multi-paneled effect. The construction and finish suggest a contemporary piece produced in the traditional style. There are no visible maker's marks or labels.
