A Mobex Romanian Oak Joint Stool - A late 20th-century Romanian oak side table or joint stool in the 17th-century revival style, manufactured by Mobex in Tirgu Mures. The stool features a square solid oak top with a rounded edge positioned over a frieze carved with a repeating pattern of recessed ovals. It is supported by four turned legs terminating in square block feet, all joined by a perimeter box stretcher. The piece is finished with a dark oak stain and a high-gloss lacquer. A partial paper label is adhered to the underside identifying the manufacturer as Mobex, Romania.
