A 925 silver and enamel heraldic brooch for the City of Victoria British Columbia - A mid-20th-century heraldic brooch constructed from 925 silver and vitreous enamel. The central shield depicts the coat of arms of the City of Victoria, British Columbia, featuring a red St George cross with a central crown on a white ground above a silver-toned lion passant on a green ground. The shield is surmounted by an enamelled Tudor crown and is flanked by scrolling openwork wings with white enamel accents and two inset fleur-de-lis motifs. The reverse is stamped STERLING. The piece is fitted with a horizontal pin and C-clasp mechanism.
