Royal Crown Derby Old Imari Pattern 1128 Scalloped Plate Dated 1901 - A Royal Crown Derby fine bone china plate decorated in the 1128 Old Imari pattern. The circular form features a scalloped and gadrooned rim with heavy 22-carat gold gilding. The decoration is arranged in six alternating radiating panels: three displaying a gilded trellis design on a white ground and three featuring stylised floral sprays in cobalt blue and iron-red. The central medallion contains abstract foliate motifs, and the outer border consists of elaborate scrolling gold work over a cobalt blue ground. The reverse bears an iron-red factory backstamp with the Royal Crown Derby crown and monogram, the word England, and the date code x representing the year 1901. A hand-painted pattern number 1128 is present near the footrim. Diameter: 220 mm.
