UK 2005 Prince of Wales Royal Wedding Celebration Medal, Sterling Silver - A Royal Mint sterling silver commemorative medal struck to celebrate the marriage of HRH The Prince of Wales and Mrs. Camilla Parker Bowles on 9th April 2005. The medal is struck in .925 sterling silver with a proof finish. The obverse features a central heraldic shield with lion and unicorn supporters, a crown above, and the Prince of Wales feathers and a dragon below, encircled by the legend PRINCE OF WALES DUCHESS OF CORNWALL. The reverse depicts the Prince of Wales feathers crest with the motto ribbon ICH DIEN above the date 9th April 2005. A small rectangular hallmark is visible below the date. The item is presented in its original blue velvet-lined case with a certificate of authenticity signed by Gerald Sheehan, Deputy Master of the Royal Mint, stating a limited issue of 5,000.
