2017 South African 1 oz Fine Silver Krugerrand Coin - A 2017 South African fine silver Krugerrand coin, struck by the South African Mint. The obverse features the profile portrait of Paul Kruger, the former President of the South African Republic, with the legends SUID-AFRIKA and SOUTH AFRICA inscribed along the upper perimeter. The reverse depicts a springbok antelope in mid-stride, flanked by the split date 20 17. The inscriptions KRUGERRAND and FYNSILVER 1 OZ FINE SILVER R1 appear above and below the motif respectively. A small circular privy mark containing the number 50 is located above the springbok, signifying the 50th anniversary of the Krugerrand series.
