Three UK Silver Coins including Elizabeth I Hammered and William III Milled Issues - A group of three silver coins from the UK, comprising one milled issue and two hammered issues. The milled coin is a William III silver shilling, featuring a laureate bust facing right on the obverse with the legend GVLIELMVS III DEI GRA. The reverse shows four crowned shields arranged in a cruciform pattern with the legend BR FRA ET HIB. The smaller hammered coin is identified as an issue of Elizabeth I from the legible reverse legend fragment E T H. The larger hammered coin features a long cross over a shield of arms, typical of 16th or 17th-century Tudor and Stuart coinage. All specimens exhibit surfaces consistent with environmental exposure or salvage, characterized by significant pitting and mineral encrustation. Weight: 23.39 grams.
