A Late 19th Century Cobalt Blue Glass Ewer with Enamel Decoration - A late 19th-century ewer constructed from translucent cobalt blue glass, featuring a bulbous mid-section and a tall, slender neck terminating in a heavily ruffled trefoil rim. A single solid blue glass handle is applied from the upper neck to the shoulder of the body. The vessel is supported by a short knopped stem resting on a circular pedestal foot. The exterior is decorated with hand-painted polychrome enamel floral sprays, depicting lily-of-the-valley and small blossoms in white and pink with green foliage. A prominent white and gilded bow motif is positioned on the front, featuring a single applied red glass cabochon at its centre. Additional gilded line work and enamel beading are present around the neck and foot. No maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
