A Bottle Vase with Horsehair Firing Decoration - A bottle vase, of elongated teardrop form tapering to a long slender neck with a flat rim. The vessel features a burnished off-white surface decorated using horsehair firing techniques. This process has produced fine, carbonised black lines and broader areas of smoky-grey carbon clouding across the mid-section and base. The base is flat with an incised circular mark containing three nested upward-curving arcs. No maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item. The vessel is constructed with a smooth, polished exterior finish that contrasts with the organic, carbon-infused decorative patterns.
