A 1994 Lledo Days Gone Collection of Vehicles and Ephemera - This lot comprises a selection of six commercial vehicles and associated promotional ephemera. The models represent vintage commercial transport, including a yellow and blue van marked CREAMOLA CUSTARD POWDER SINCE 1908, a red delivery van with ROYAL MAIL and the GR cipher, a red L.C.C. LONDON FIRE BRIGADE vehicle numbered 52, a green ROWNTREE'S TABLE JELLIES van marked SINCE 1923, a blue HUDSON'S DRY SOAP van, and a green truck marked SOURCE PERRIER FRANCE. The vehicles are constructed from metal and composite components. Accompanying the vehicles is a suite of promotional material including a printed leaflet titled 6 FOR THE PRICE OF 5, an INTRODUCTION TO COLLECTORS CLUB 1994 voucher, a mail order form, and a business reply envelope addressed to LLEDO MODELS MAIL ORDER DIVISION, PO BOX 250, SOUTHAMPTON, SO9 1BG. Each retail box is printed with MADE IN ENGLAND and LLEDO PLC. ENFIELD. EN3 4ND. ENGLAND. The Creamola box base includes the slogan TICKLES THE WORLD'S PALATE. The leaflet bears the printed signature H.J. RUSSELL. The set is contained within an original cardboard mailer box.
