A Collection of UK Coins and Ephemera in a C.W.S. Tin - This lot comprises an assortment of UK pre-decimal and decimal coinage, philatelic ephemera, and a vintage lithographed metal tin. The coinage includes denominations of half crowns, shillings, sixpences, brass threepences, pennies, and halfpennies. Visible obverse portraits include Queen Victoria featuring a veiled head, King George VI, and Queen Elizabeth II. Reverses feature standard motifs including the seated Britannia, the Tudor portcullis, the Golden Hind, and heraldic shields. The collection contains both copper and silver coins alongside cupro-nickel currency. The metal tin is of rectangular form with a hinged lid, decorated with a central bird vignette and floral motifs. The interior lid is printed with the text C·W·S CREAM CRACKERS and CRUMPSALL · · CARDIFF. Ephemera includes a LOCAL POST CORNWALL stamp booklet featuring an illustration of St Michael’s Mount and printed with 4 at 12½p 50p. A brown paper envelope bears a red circular postmark reading COVENTRY 28 AUG 1968 WARWICKSHIRE. Small white adhesive labels marked 715 are applied to the exterior. No other maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible.
