UK 1996 Celebration of Football Silver Proof £2 Coin - A UK 1996 silver proof two pound coin, issued to commemorate the European Football Championship hosted in England. The reverse features a stylised football design by John Mills with the centrally struck date 1996. The coin is struck in sterling silver with a proof finish. It is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule and presented in its original Royal Mint green box. The interior lid of the box is lined in cream fabric and printed with a crest above a banner reading ROYAL MINT.
