An English Pressed Fibre Suitcase with Terracotta-Coloured Finish and Metal Hardware - A suitcase of rectangular form constructed from pressed fibre with a textured terracotta-coloured finish. The case is fitted with reinforced metal protective corners and two metal flip-lock latches with keyholes. A central rigid carrying handle in a matching colour is attached to the front panel. The interior is lined with cream and black checkered patterned paper and includes a central cream-coloured fabric securing strap. An adhesive black and gold rectangular label is applied to the interior lid, printed with the text PRESSED FIBRE above a central crest and MADE IN ENGLAND below. A smaller, partially torn and illegible label is located immediately above the main manufacturer's label. No other maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
