An English Flow Blue Wash Jug and Basin Set - This lot comprises a two-piece English wash jug and basin set, featuring flow blue transfer-printed floral decoration. The jug is constructed with a globular body and a pinched neck leading to a wide, scalloped, and ruffled pouring spout, complemented by an ornate scrolling handle. The circular basin has a flared, ruffled rim featuring molded scrollwork details. Both components are decorated with floral bouquets in a cobalt blue pigment that exhibits a characteristic flow effect against the white ground. The rims and the jug handle are finished in a deep cobalt blue. A printed black mark is present on the underside of the basin, consisting of a crown symbol above the text MADE IN ENGLAND. No maker's names, signatures, or pattern titles are visible on the pieces.
