A Minton Talbot Pattern English Part-Dinner Service - This lot comprises an English part-dinner service decorated in the Talbot pattern. The service consists of multiple stacks of plates in three sizes and a collection of rimmed bowls. Each piece features a central polychrome floral bouquet spray, surrounded by a neoclassical border of festooned floral swags, garlands, and urns in pink, blue, yellow, and green. The decoration is finished with a gilded rim. The base of each piece bears a printed black mark consisting of a crown surmounting a globe within a banner reading MINTONS, flanked by laurel leaves above a ribbon reading EST. 1793. A further banner below bears the pattern name TALBOT, with the text ENGLAND / REG. NO 735348 / U.S. PATENT APPLIED FOR printed beneath. A handwritten pattern number in red enamel reads B1113 over I. No other maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items.
