A Chinese Pedestal Table with Underglaze Blue and Celadon Decoration - A pedestal table, comprising a circular top with a downturned rim and a cylindrical base with a flared foot. The top is decorated with a central underglaze blue medallion featuring a stylised chrysanthemum and scrolling vines, encircled by a broad band of pale green celadon-type glaze with moulded relief floral and foliate motifs. The outer rim is finished with concentric geometric lattice and ruyi-head scroll borders. The pedestal base is hand-painted in underglaze blue with a continuous shan shui landscape depicting mountains, pavilions, bridges, and figures in boats, positioned above a crested wave border at the foot. A four-character underglaze blue inscription is present on the outer edge of the rim; the characters are not legible as a name or date. No other maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
