UK 1953-1994 Commemorative Coins and Medal - This lot comprises a collection of five commemorative items issued by the UK between 1953 and 1994. The group includes a metal commemorative medal housed in an arched red plastic case with a printed legend reading CAERNARFON CASTLE. The medal features the legend CHARLES PRINCE OF WALES 25th ANNIVERSARY 1969-1994 on the obverse, while the reverse features the Prince of Wales's feathers and the motto ICH DIEN. Two coins are presented in card mounts: a 1981 coin depicting the jugate portraits of H.R.H. THE PRINCE OF WALES AND LADY DIANA SPENCER in a blue card mount inscribed ROYAL WEDDING COMMEMORATIVE CROWN, and a 1977 coin commemorating the SILVER JUBILEE in a purple card mount. Two further loose coins include a 1960 issue featuring four cruciform shields and a 1953 issue depicting the Coronation regalia including the ampulla and anointing spoon.
