A 1915 Birmingham 925 Silver and Cut Glass Cased Salt Set - This lot comprises a set of two cut glass salt cellars and two matching 925 silver salt spoons, presented in a retail case. The circular cellars feature heavy glass bodies with deep starburst and geometric cutting, finished with plain 925 silver collars. Each collar bears four struck hallmark punches: an illegible maker's mark, a lion passant, an anchor, and a lowercase letter 'q' within a shield. The two matching 925 silver spoons feature circular bowls, twisted stems, and ball finials. The stems are struck with four hallmark punches: 'H&H', a lion passant, an anchor, and a lowercase letter 'q' within a shield. The items are housed in a black leatherette-covered box with a blue velvet-lined base and a blue satin-lined lid. The lid interior is gilt-stamped with a label reading HALL MARKED SILVER MADE IN ENGLAND.
