A Carved Jade Vase, Waisted and Faceted Form - A carved jade vase, featuring a waisted and faceted body. The vessel is constructed with a circular, flared rim above a tapering neck that constricts to a central waist. The lower portion of the body is carved into eight vertical facets, which terminate at the base in a series of arched cut-outs, creating a lobed foot. The stone exhibits variegated green and off-white colouration with natural crystalline inclusions and internal fissures throughout the material. The exterior surfaces are polished to a smooth, lustrous finish, while the interior shows the tool marks from the hollow-carving process. No maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item. Height: 15.88 cm.
