An Early 20th Century English Royal Crown Derby Teaware Set - This lot comprises three teacups and two matching saucers. Each piece is of ceramic construction and features the pattern 2451, decorated in the Traditional Imari style with underglaze cobalt blue, overglaze iron red, and hand-applied gilding. The decoration is arranged in alternating panels of floral motifs, geometric lattices, and scrolling foliage. The cups are designed with looped, gilded handles. The base of each piece bears a red printed backstamp featuring the curved text ROYAL CROWN DERBY ENGLAND above a crown surmounting a monogram of two interlocking D characters. A year cypher in the form of a cross with dots is positioned below the monogram, followed by the pattern number 2451. Additional hand-painted marks are present in green, resembling the number 2, and in orange, resembling a stylised arrow. No other maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible.
