Bidspirit auction | A Ruby and Clear Glass

A Ruby and Clear Glass Heart Shaped Paperweight with Controlled Bubbles - A solid heart-shaped glass paperweight featuring a vibrant ruby core encased in a thick layer of clear glass. The interior is decorated with five large controlled bubbles, known as the bullicante technique, arranged in a circular formation around a smaller central bubble. These are surrounded by a scattering of minute seed bubbles. A faint circular pattern of white dots is visible within the upper section of the glass. The base is flat and polished, revealing a faint circular adhesive label. Within the border of this label, the characters MADE IN ITALY are partially legible in a circular arrangement. No other maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
