A Pair of English Park Lane China Cream Jug and Sugar Bowl - This lot comprises a matching cream jug and sugar bowl, constructed from bone china. The cream jug is of waisted form featuring a flared base, a pinched pouring spout, and a scrolled handle. The open sugar bowl is of circular form with a slightly tapered body. Both pieces are decorated with a wide green and gilt geometric rim border containing stylised floral motifs. Below this border, swags of brown beaded chains are interspersed with hand-painted pink rosebuds and urn-shaped pendants. The base of the pieces bears a reddish-brown printed mark featuring a crown surrounded by the text PARK LANE CHINA and MADE IN ENGLAND. A small hand-painted brown mark in the form of the digit 3 is also present on the underside. No further maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the pieces.
