UK 1977 Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Silver Proof Crown - A 1977 United Kingdom commemorative crown, struck in sterling silver to a proof finish by the Royal Mint. The obverse depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on horseback, riding side-saddle, with the legend ELIZABETH II DG REG F D and the date 1977 inscribed around the perimeter. The reverse features the coronation regalia including the Ampulla and Anointing Spoon, set within a floral wreath of Tudor rose, thistle, shamrock, and leek. The coin is housed in its original clear plastic protective capsule and presented in a blue velvet-lined Royal Mint case. Accompanying the coin is a printed paper certificate bearing the ROYAL MINT coat of arms and text which transcribes the coin as being struck in sterling silver with a diameter of 38.61 mm and a weight of 28.276 grammes.
