A Mid-20th Century Art Glass Swan Dish, amber and ruby tones - A Mid-20th Century art glass dish, featuring a stylised swan form with an elongated, arched neck and a flared tail section that creates a shallow, open bowl. The piece is constructed from hand-blown glass in a bi-colour palette, with a translucent amber-toned upper body transitioning into a deep ruby red layer within the weighted base. The neck curves gracefully upwards, tapering towards a pointed beak, while the tail flares upwards and outwards to form the rear of the vessel. The interior of the bowl is smooth and clear, revealing the intensity of the red glass at the bottom. The base is flat and polished to allow for stable display.
