Two Mason's Ironstone Chartreuse Pattern Floral Ceramic Items - This lot comprises two pieces of English ironstone pottery: a large bowl and a small vase. The bowl is of circular form with a scalloped, lobed rim. The small vase is of baluster form with a flared, faceted rim. Both pieces feature the Chartreuse pattern, a floral design in shades of green and yellow with gilded highlights. The decoration is applied through a combination of transfer printing and hand painting. The base of the bowl bears a green printed backstamp consisting of the word MASON'S above a crown device and a banner containing the words IRONSTONE and MADE IN ENGLAND.
