A Late 19th or Early 20th Century Ceramic Wash Jug and Basin, decorated with floral transfer prints. - A ceramic wash jug and basin set featuring a flow blue transferware aesthetic. The jug is designed with a flared and scalloped rim, a pinched pouring spout, and a scrolled handle. The accompanying basin features a wide, fluted rim with a textured edge. Both pieces are decorated with cobalt blue floral transfer-print sprays, including roses and smaller blossoms, set against a white ground. The rims exhibit heavy blue feathering that transitions into the body of the vessels. No maker's marks, backstamps, or legible signatures are present on the exterior or visible interior surfaces of either piece.
