A Nottinghamshire Football Association Commemorative Medallion in Fitted Case - A commemorative medallion relating to the Nottinghamshire Football Association, presented in its original fitted case. The medallion is struck from white metal and features the coat of arms for Nottinghamshire on the obverse. This central design depicts a shield bearing a stylised tree, flanked by two stags, surmounted by a crest with a garb. A ribbon at the base is embossed with the Latin motto SAPIENTER PROFICIENS. The perimeter of the medallion is struck with the legend NOTTINGHAMSHIRE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION in uppercase lettering. The reverse is not visible. The medallion is housed in a rectangular blue faux-leather case with a hinged lid. The interior is lined with white satin and features a blue velvet recessed insert for the medal. The satin lining of the lid is printed in gold lettering with the legend THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION beneath a matching gold-coloured crest. No maker's marks or hallmarks are visible on the medallion or the case.
