A Metal Chess Set with Wooden Board and Storage Case - A complete metal chess set featuring thirty-two pieces in two contrasting finishes, one appearing in a silver-toned metallic finish and the other in a brass-toned metallic finish. The set follows a Staunton-influenced design, with the knights featuring detailed equine heads and the kings and queens topped with traditional coronet and cross finials. The pieces are of cast construction with a textured, antiqued surface and are finished with red felt pads to the bases. The accompanying wooden board features a dark-stained outer frame and a playing surface of alternating light and dark wood squares. The set is housed in a red flocked, vacuum-formed plastic storage tray designed to hold each piece individually. No maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the pieces, the board, or the storage tray.
