A Pair of UK George V Florins, 1932 and 1933 - A pair of UK florins from the reign of King George V, struck in 1932 and 1933. The obverse of each coin features the left-facing uncrowned portrait of the monarch. The legends are struck in capital letters reading GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX. The reverse design for both years consists of a cruciform arrangement of four crowned shields representing the nations of the United Kingdom: England (three lions), Scotland (lion rampant), and Ireland (a harp). Interspersed between the shields are four scepters with a central rose motif. The reverse legends read FID DEF IND IMP with the denomination and date recorded as ONE FLORIN 1932 and ONE FLORIN 1933 respectively. Both coins feature reeded edges.
