A Pair of Mid-20th Century Woven Fibre Tub Armchairs - A pair of woven fibre tub armchairs, each featuring a rounded backrest that transitions into integrated armrests. The chairs are constructed from woven twisted-paper fibre over a wire and bentwood frame, supported by four tapered legs terminating in metal ferrules. The first chair is finished in white paint and is fitted with a black textured square cushion. The second chair is finished in cream paint and features a rectangular box-seat cushion upholstered in a reddish-pink fabric with a repeating floral damask pattern. The woven skirts on both chairs extend downwards, partially concealing the upper portion of the legs. No maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
