The figure is depicted in a nineteenth-century style gown of pale apricot hue, featuring a blue-trimmed neckline and small puff sleeves. The woman is posed in mid-step, lifting the hem of her voluminous skirt with her right hand while carrying a wide-brimmed straw-effect hat adorned with yellow blossoms and a blue ribbon in her left hand. Her brown hair is styled with a matching blue ribbon. The base features a black printed backstamp under a crown symbol reading COALPORT, BONE CHINA, MADE IN ENGLAND, EST. 1750. Below this, in script, are the words Debutante and Sharon, followed by HAND DECORATED. and © COALPORT 1996.
