A Collection of UK George V and George VI Silver Coins - A collection of British silver coinage comprising two florins and two shillings. The first florin, dated 1921, features a cruciform arrangement of four crowned shields representing England, Scotland, and Ireland, with scepters in the angles. The reverse is struck with the legend ONE FLORIN and the date 1921. The second florin, dated 1920, shares this reverse design with the legend ONE FLORIN and the date 1920. The collection includes two shillings featuring a lion standing atop a crown on the reverse. One is struck with the legend FID DEF IND IMP ONE SHILLING 1933 and the other bears the legend FID DEF IND IMP ONE SHILLING 1941. The 1920 florin is struck in .925 fineness sterling silver, while the 1921, 1933, and 1941 issues are struck in .500 fineness silver. All four coins feature milled edges.
