A Pair of Mid-20th Century Oak Drop-Leaf Side Tables - This lot comprises a pair of oak side tables in the Tudor Revival style. Each table features a rectangular top with rounded edges and two drop-leaf extensions. The leaves are supported by pull-out wooden sliders located beneath the central fixed section of the tabletop. The base of each table is constructed with four turned baluster legs joined by a floor-level stretcher. The outer faces of the stretchers are decorated with a carved nulling or thumb-mould pattern. The construction incorporates recessed metal hinges secured with Phillips-head screws and modern wing-nut fasteners on threaded bolts. No maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on either item.
