The set features a commemorative two-pound coin celebrating the 300th anniversary of the Bank of England, with a reverse design depicting the bank's seal and the legend 1694 1994 BANK OF ENGLAND. Also included is a fifty-pence coin marking the 50th anniversary of D-Day, featuring a reverse design of Allied invasion aircraft and ships with the date 1994.
