UK 1999 Royal Mint Rugby World Cup Brilliant Uncirculated £2 Coin - A UK bimetallic two pound coin, held within its original Royal Mint presentation card folder. The reverse of the coin, designed by Ron Dutton, features a central rugby ball set against a background of stadium goalposts and stylized pitch lines. The legend on the reverse reads TWO POUNDS and the date 1999 is struck below the central motif. The packaging consists of a green and blue card folder with a printed image of the Webb Ellis Cup at the top. Printed text on the folder includes 1999, UNITED KINGDOM, and BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED £2 COIN. A logo for the IRB RUGBY WORLD CUP 1999 is positioned at the base of the folder. The obverse of the coin, though not visible through the packaging, would feature the fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. The edge of the coin is milled and features an incuse inscription.
