UK 2020 Withdrawal from the European Union 50p BU Coin - A UK 2020 50 pence coin, struck in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) finish to commemorate the withdrawal from the European Union. The reverse features a calligraphic inscription in five lines reading PEACE, PROSPERITY AND FRIENDSHIP WITH ALL NATIONS, above the date 31 JANUARY 2020. The obverse depicts the fifth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Royal Diamond Diadem, with the legend ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 50 PENCE 2020. The coin is presented in its original dark green and purple fold-out card, which bears the gold-tone inscription A VOTE TO LEAVE AND A NEW ERA followed by WITHDRAWAL FROM THE EUROPEAN UNION 2020 UK 50P BU COIN. The Royal Mint logo and the phrase TREASURE FOR LIFE appear on the upper left of the packaging. The entire set is contained within an original clear plastic outer sleeve.
