A Five Ounce .999 Fine Copper Commemorative Round, Crane and Lotus - A five ounce .999 fine copper round of circular form with a reeded edge. The obverse features a high-relief polychrome design depicting a Manchurian crane in flight against a midnight blue ground. The crane is rendered with white, black, and red details, set amongst stylized scrolling ruyi clouds and a golden celestial body. A large pink lotus blossom in full bloom is situated to the right of the crane, accompanied by green foliage. The reverse features a central raised eight-pointed starburst or compass rose design set upon a granular, textured field. A circular inscription around the outer edge reads FIVE AVDP OUNCES .999 FINE COPPER. No maker's marks or signatures are visible on the item.
