A British Commemorative Bar Brooch Featuring George V and Queen Mary - A British commemorative bar brooch, designed in the form of a safety pin with a central circular medallion. The medallion is set into a bezel mount and contains a colour-tinted photographic portrait under a glazed panel, depicting King George V and Queen Mary in their coronation robes and crowns. The brooch is constructed from a rose-toned metal and features a simple safety pin style catch mechanism. On the reverse of the bar, near the hinge, a stamped inscription reads RD 4465.
