A Collection of Record Power and Assorted Woodworking Boring Tools - This lot comprises an extensive assortment of woodworking boring and cutting tools presented on custom-made wooden wall-mounting racks. The collection includes a variety of forstner bits in both smooth-rim and saw-tooth rim designs, together with several tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) hinge boring bits. A set of brad point wood-drilling bits is housed in a rack with hand-written metric size markings from 3 to 12. Also included are four plug cutters, a countersink bit, a small drill chuck adapter, a centre punch, and one large spiral auger bit. Two metal indexed cases attached to the base of a rack contain multiple twist bits. Several of the larger boring bits bear the struck maker's name RECORD POWER on the shanks. Other legible shank markings include 1-3/8 and 35MM. The metal cases for the twist bits are printed with metric graduations including 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 8, 9, 9.5, and 10. No other maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items.
