Malta 1972 Decimalisation Coin Set - A set of eight coins from Malta, issued in 1972 to commemorate the introduction of decimal currency. The collection is housed in a purple-lined rectangular acrylic presentation case. The set includes a decagonal 50 cents coin, alongside denominations of 10 cents, 5 cents, 2 cents, and 1 cent. Also included are three scalloped-edge mil coins in 5 mils, 3 mils, and 2 mils. The obverse of the coins feature national symbols including a Neolithic temple, a traditional boat, and the George Cross, with the legend MALTA and the date 1972.
