Japanese Order of the Sacred Treasure 7th Class Women's Medal Badge
Womens Japanese Order Of The Sacred Treasure Medal, 7th Class Badge. This medal does not come with a case. The Order of the Sacred Treasure, established in January of 1888, was awarded to either military or civilian personnel for long service with good conduct. It came in eight classes. From 1919 this medal was also awarded to women on a ribbon bow. Good condition for its age with signs of age & wear. Also attached is tape and a safety pin to the ribbon. This was done by the previous owner.
