SHERMAN FOOTE DENTON ANTIQUE TROUT LITHOGRAPHS
Sherman Foote Denton (1836-1937) Color lithographs by Female Brook Trout (Salvelinus Fontinalis.) and Red Throat Black Spotted or Rocky Mountain Trout (Salmo Mykill Walbaum.).
Denton is best known for the nature drawings that he was commissioned to illustrate for the US Fish Commission (later the US Fish and Wildlife Service) and the Forest, Fish and Game Commission of New York State.
