BRADLEY & HUBBARD PAIR OF BRASS CANDLESTICKS
Simple columnar shaft with two bands of ribbing for only decor. Shallow concave wax drip at top of shaft and echoing slightly concave drip pan base. Probably part of the ‘Aesthetic Movement’ in Art about 1900. Heavy, weighted by perforated iron disc inside base, originally covered with paper, some of which remains on one with the Bradley & Hubbard Man. Co. triangular paper labels. The Co. dates from 1856-1940.
